We lost a dear friend last night ... legendary guitarist Jimmy Capps went home ... this is another loss that is so hard to process ... the heavenly choir has gained one of the finest players to ever play ... and quite frankly one of the finest men to ever live #JIMMYCAPPS pic.twitter.com/OHkWvuZGpB

Jimmy Capps didn’t say much but he sure smiled a whole lot. He was the nicest man in the country music business. God, this is sad.
RIP, Jim. pic.twitter.com/smY1tqQz8O
BJ Thomas:
RIP Jimmy Capps. Jimmy was one of the greatest human beings that I’ve ever known. A fantastic musician. Played on 90% of everything I’ve done in Nashville. What a loss. Prayers for Michele. BJ
